Game 1 - Cowboys Host Savannah State


Oklahoma State will host Savannah State tomorrow - Saturday, Sept. 1 for the 2012 season opener. The Cowboys enter the game ranked 19th nationally and are coming off a Big 12 Championship. The game is set to kick at 6 p.m. inside Boone Pickens Stadium. Cowboy fans can watch the game on Fox College Sports or listen on the Cowboy Radio Network. Oklahoma State will be broadcast nationally on SiriusXM channel 138.

No. 19 OSU vs. the Tigers can be seen on Cox 703 or 3 in Oklahoma City/Tulsa, on DirecTV 626, U-Verse 648 and on Fox College Sports Central.

2012 Mike Gundy Radio Show Kicks Off Tonight

The 2012 Mike Gundy Radio Show kicks off tonight live from 6-7 p.m. CT at Rib Crib in Stillwater.  Coach Gundy will preview this weekend's season opener against Savannah State and take questions from Cowboy fans.  The "Voice of the Cowboys" Dave Hunziker will host the show and help set the stage for Oklahoma State Football 2012. The show can be heard around Oklahoma on the Cowboys Radio Network and throughout the country on SiriusXM channel 91.

Former Cowboy Great Visits Football Practice

Head coach Mike Gundy and the Cowboys were honored Friday to have one of Oklahoma State's all-time great wrestlers, Yojiro Uetake, attend practice. Uetake, pictured with coach Gundy, was 58-0 during his collegiate career and went on to win an Olympic Gold medal.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys installed a new mural on the field level of Boone Pickens Stadium. The mural shows the energy, excitement and passion for Cowboy Football. The players featured are LB Shaun Lewis, LB Alex Elkins, CB Brodrick Brown, CB Justin Gilbert and DE Cooper Bassett.

OSU Set For Final Scrimmage of Training Camp

Oklahoma State will hold its final scrimmage of training camp Saturday inside Boone Pickens Stadium.  OSU is expected to workout for an hour and a half weather permitting.  Tonight's scrimmage wraps up the 17-day training camp OSU has been battling through since Aug. 2.   The Cowboys will start school Monday and begin transitioning to the season.  Check CoachGundy.com and the official training camp central page on OKState.com to hear comments from head coach Mike Gundy and players later this evening.
