Cowboys Set for Road Game at Kansas

Oklahoma State has proved it can play well on the road under head coach Mike Gundy. The Cowboys have 13 road wins since 2009, ranking fifth nationally during that span. OSU has gone 13-3 away from home since the beginning of the 2009 season and won 12 of its last 14 Big 12 road games.

Saturday could mean a couple of things for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys are looking for their first conference win and a victory would tie Gundy on the all-time OSU wins list with his former coach Pat Jones. Gundy is 61-32 in his career and has taken OSU to six straight bowl games.

Oklahoma State holds a 31-29-2 series advantage over KU, thanks to its current two-game winning streak over the Jayhawks. OSU dominated Kansas, 70-28, inside Boone Pickens Stadium last year.

Kick is set for 2:30 p.m. CT, Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net and available on the Cowboy Radio Network.

  1. This is not to be missed. I look forward to that day and will be quite exciting for both teams. Oklahoma will have to take care their defense.
