Mike Gundy Era - Bowl Appearances

Oklahoma State has reached new heights under head coach Mike Gundy. The Gundy Era has launched the program into the national spotlight. OSU has chiseled out an impressive list of accomplishments and perhaps the strongest foundation in the program's history.

  • Has led OSU to five consecutive bowl appearances for the first time in school history
  • Has coached three NFL first-round draft picks since 2008
  • Has coached winners of the Biletnikoff Award, Lou Groza Award and Ray Guy Award since 2008
  • Has coached eight first-team All-Americans since 2008
  • Oklahoma State is one of only four teams in the country from automatic-qualifying BCS conferences to win nine games or more in each of the last three regular seasons.
  • 2010 Big 12 Coach of the Year
  • 2010 finalist for the Eddie Robinson and Liberty Mutual National Coach of the Year awards
In addition to those, OSU continues to set new season ticket attendance numbers. This season marks an all-time record for season tickets and the number is still on the climb with the Cowboys ranked No. 5 nationally and 4-0. Boone Pickens Stadium has become one of the hardest places to play for an opponent. The atmosphere and fan base makes Oklahoma State a special place.
