Honorary Assistant Coaches for Kansas Game

Cowboy Football will honor selected members of the faculty and staff with Oklahoma State University throughout the 2011 season as part of its Honorary Assistant Coaches program. The program is designed to show appreciation for their support and assistance with Cowboy Football.

The Kansas game Honorary Assistant Coaches were Doug Reed, Delton Gordon and Brenda Masters.

Doug Reed is serving his 26th year to the university, Doug Reed is the Assistant Director of Institutional Research and Information Management. Doug works with Student Information Systems, and provides the data, reports, and academic alerts to the Academic Services for Student Athletes.

Delton Gordon is in his fourth year as the Area Manager for Housing and Residential Life, where he oversees the Student Leadership and Academic Development Office and thirteen residence halls, suites, and apartments. He received his Bachelor of Science at Oklahoma State University and Master of Science Degree at Emporia State University. He is from Sayre, Oklahoma and has worked with Greek Life, Leadership Studies, Housing, Dining, Admissions, Recreation, and Student Activities for the past thirteen years.

After undergraduate years at OSU, graduate school at the University of Georgia, and faculty time at University of Florida, Brenda Masters returned to and has been teaching Business Statistics at OSU for over a quarter of a century. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Brenda is currently the Director of Institutional Accreditation, which encompasses multiple roles in the Office of Academic Affairs. She is married to her OSU Sweetheart, Thomas Barclay, and lives northeast of Stillwater with her 6 dogs, 20 pet hens, and a cat.
