Former Oklahoma State standout Ugo Chinasa was signed to the practice squad Thursday by the Detroit Lions. Chinasa, who spent time with Carolina during the summer, is in his rookie season in the NFL.
He is joined in Detroit by two former OSU stars. First-round draft pick TE Brandon Pettigrew and OL Corey Hillard are on the active roster for the Lions this season.
Chinasa had 32 tackles for Oklahoma State in 2010, with 25 solo stops to lead OSU's down lineman in both categories. He had three sacks during his final season in Stillwater.
