Playmaker James Thomas is Big Time

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State had blown a 14-0 lead and fallen behind 24-17 Saturday against Kansas State, which was driving for more points and a potential knockout blow toward an upset.
The Cowboys defense desperately needed a big play.

The Cowboys needed Big Game James.

And as if on cue, James Thomas popped up to pick off K-State quarterback Collin Klein near midfield, then barreled along the sideline all the way to the Wildcats 5. Soon enough, Brandon Weeden found Tracy Moore for a touchdown, and the Cowboys were breathing again, back in a game they'd eventually win 52-35.

“They call me Big Game James,” Thomas said matter-of-factly this week.
