Doug Meacham Makes Impact on Oklahoma St.

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State is 8-0 for the first time since 1945. The Cowboys are No. 3 in the BCS standings. They're chasing championships.

Imagine how that feels if you bleed orange-and-black and you are one of the folks who is making it all happen.

Meacham is a former OSU offensive lineman. He blocked for Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas and Mike Gundy during glory years in the 1980s. Meacham paid serious dues to get back to his alma mater and be a part of what has been a dream season.

From 1989 through 2004, except for a short stint as an OSU graduate assistant, Meacham coached in what he described as "bus leagues."
