Reigning Biletnikoff Award winner Justin Blackmon has been
named a semifinalist for the honor again in 2011. Blackmon, who was named the nation’s top wide
receiver last season, is one of 10 semifinalists and one of three players from
the Big 12 on the list.
Blackmon has 93 catches for 1,142 yards in 2011 and 14
touchdowns. During his career, he has 18
games with 100-plus receiving yards and 10 games with 10-plus receptions over
the past two years.
The Biletnikoff award is presented annually to the nation’s
top college receiver. The presentation
of the award will be featured on The Home
Depot College Football Awards live on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. CT on
ESPN.
